Microsoft Publisher 2021 MAK

Microsoft Publisher 2021 MAK: Streamlined Desktop Publishing for 1000 Users

For organisations managing a large, predictable Windows environment, the Microsoft Publisher 2021 MAK license provides a controlled, one-time procurement path for 1000 users. This isn't a subscription that fluctuates in cost, nor a complex server-based activation model. It is a straightforward, volume-style Multiple Activation Key (MAK) that gives your IT administrators a clear, documented deployment scope for a single, powerful desktop publishing application. The primary benefit is administrative clarity and budget certainty: you purchase exactly 1000 activations of Publisher 2021, own the license perpetually, and avoid the recurring overhead of Microsoft 365 for this specific workflow. This SKU is designed for businesses, educational institutions, and public sector bodies that have identified a precise need for Publisher across a defined user group—be it a marketing department, a school lab, or a municipal communications office—without the complexity and cost of deploying the entire Office suite to those workstations.

Key features and benefits

• Perpetual, one-time licensing model: You make a single purchase of EUR 179.00 for 1000 activations, securing a permanent license for Microsoft Publisher 2021. This eliminates the need for annual subscription forecasting and provides long-term budget stability, a stark contrast to recurring Microsoft 365 costs.
• Controlled 1000-user MAK deployment: The Multiple Activation Key (MAK) model is ideal for environments where devices may not regularly connect to a corporate network. Each of the 1000 activations is consumed directly against Microsoft's hosted activation service, simplifying deployment for remote or disconnected workstations without the need for an internal KMS server.
• Focused, single-application deployment: This license covers only Microsoft Publisher 2021, not the full Office suite. It is the perfect, cost-effective solution when your workflow requires only professional desktop publishing, preventing you from paying for unused applications like Word, Excel, or Outlook on those specific machines.
• Professional desktop publishing toolkit: Create high-impact marketing materials with precision. Publisher 2021 provides intuitive tools for designing flyers, brochures, newsletters, certificates, and labels, leveraging built-in templates and advanced typography controls to produce print-ready and digital documents that maintain a consistent brand image.
• Seamless integration with a familiar Office environment: Publisher 2021 works intuitively alongside other Office products. It can pull data from Excel for mail merges, use consistent colour palettes across applications, and save files in a .pub format that integrates smoothly into established document management workflows.
• Stable, predictable application lifecycle: As a perpetual Office 2021 product, Publisher receives essential security and stability updates without the monthly feature changes of a subscription. This predictability is invaluable for IT teams, as it ensures that training materials, internal templates, and helpdesk scripts remain valid and unchanged over time.
• Comprehensive language support: With support for 23 languages including English, German, French, Spanish, and Japanese, this license allows a diverse, multinational workforce to use the application in their native tongue, reducing friction and improving productivity across different regional offices.
• Optimised for modern Windows hardware: Publisher 2021 is designed to run reliably on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with modest system requirements (1.6 GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB RAM). This ensures smooth performance on a wide range of existing business hardware, from standard desktops to modern laptops, without forcing a hardware refresh.

What's included with your purchase

Your purchase from Distivo provides you with everything needed for a compliant and auditable deployment. You will receive a genuine Microsoft Publisher 2021 Multiple Activation Key (MAK) , valid for 1000 activations. This is a volume license key designed for organisations, not a consumer retail key or a single-use OEM key tied to a device. The license is perpetual, meaning it has no expiry date and does not require a recurring subscription fee.

Along with the MAK, you get a direct download link to the official Microsoft Publisher 2021 installation media, ensuring you are using a clean, unmodified source. A comprehensive activation guide is included, detailing the process for both online and telephone activation methods. Your purchase is documented with a full VAT invoice, which is essential for your financial records and software asset management audits. The license is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 and supports all listed languages, allowing you to standardise your deployment across a single, manageable SKU.

System requirements / compatibility

To ensure a smooth deployment, verify that your workstations meet the following minimum requirements for Microsoft Publisher 2021. These specifications are based on the standalone application and are generally less demanding than the full Office suite.

The product supports a wide array of languages, including: en, de, fr, es, pt, ja, pl, nl, it, cs, sv, da, fi, nb, el, hu, ro, sk, sl, hr, bg, et, lt, lv. Please note that this is a standalone application license and does not include other Office apps like Word or Excel. An internet connection is mandatory for the initial activation and to receive security updates, though the application itself functions offline once activated.

Installation and activation

After completing your purchase on Distivo, your license key and download instructions are delivered instantly via email, typically in under a minute. The process is designed for a straightforward, administrator-led deployment.

1. Download: Use the official Microsoft download link provided in your order email to obtain the Publisher 2021 installation files.
2. Install: Run the installer on a target Windows 10 or Windows 11 workstation. You can deploy the software using standard IT management tools or manually for smaller groups.
3. Activate: Launch Publisher and enter the provided MAK. The activation will consume one of the 1000 activations against Microsoft's online service. For air-gapped systems, telephone activation is also available.

A MAK has a predetermined number of activations. If you reinstall the software on the same hardware without significant changes, it should not consume a new activation. If you encounter an activation issue, Distivo provides free multilingual technical support to help resolve it. We recommend IT administrators keep a detailed internal log of which machine names or user IDs correspond to each activation for future asset tracking and reinstallation requests.

FAQ — frequently asked questions

Is this a subscription or a one-time purchase?

This is a one-time, perpetual license for Microsoft Publisher 2021. You pay once and can use the software indefinitely. There are no monthly or annual subscription fees, unlike Microsoft 365.

What is a MAK license and how is it different from a retail or OEM key?

A Multiple Activation Key (MAK) is a volume license key designed for organisations. Unlike a retail key (for 1 PC) or an OEM key (pre-installed and tied to a single device's hardware), a MAK allows you to activate the software on a predefined number of computers—in this case, 1000—using a single key.

How fast do I get my license key after payment?

Delivery is instant. Our system automatically sends your license key, official download link, and invoice to your email address immediately after your payment is confirmed, typically in under 60 seconds.

Is this a genuine and legal Microsoft license?

Absolutely. Distivo supplies only 100% genuine, verified Microsoft licenses sourced from authorized European distributors. You will receive a valid VAT invoice, providing full legal and financial documentation for your software asset.

What if I have trouble activating the license?

We provide free multilingual technical support. If you encounter an error during activation, our team can help troubleshoot the issue. The MAK can be activated online or, for secure offline environments, via a manual telephone activation process with Microsoft.

Can I reinstall Publisher on the same computer or transfer it to a new one?

Yes, you can reinstall Publisher on the same computer without consuming a new activation, provided no major hardware changes are made. A MAK is generally tied to the device it activates. Transferring a license to a completely new PC will consume an additional activation from your pool of 1000.

Does this license work on both Windows 10 and Windows 11?

Yes, Microsoft Publisher 2021 is fully compatible with both Windows 10 and Windows 11. The system requirements are the same for both operating systems.

What payment methods do you accept?

Our Stripe-secured checkout supports a wide range of payment methods, including all major credit cards, Google Pay, SEPA bank transfers, iDEAL, and BLIK, ensuring a secure and convenient transaction.

Do you provide a VAT invoice for my purchase?

Yes, a detailed VAT invoice is automatically generated and included with your order confirmation email. For B2B customers within the EU, we support the reverse charge mechanism where applicable.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 14-day right of refund in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations. If you have not activated the license and it is unused, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

Does this license include Word, Excel, or Outlook?

No, this is a standalone license for Microsoft Publisher 2021 only. It does not include any other Office applications. If you need the full suite, you would need to purchase a separate license for Office 2021 Standard or Professional Plus.

How many computers can I install Publisher on with this key?

This specific MAK is valid for exactly 1000 activations. You can install and activate Publisher on up to 1000 different Windows computers within your organisation using this single key.
